AI Assistants (MCP)
Connect Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client to Alke Analytics and ask questions about your audience and revenue in plain language.
Alke Analytics exposes a remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. An AI assistant connected to it can list your organizations and properties, discover the available metrics and dimensions, and build and run reports — always within your own permissions.
The connection is read-only: an assistant can never change your settings or your data.
Server URL
https://api-analytics.alketech.eu/mcp
The server uses the Streamable HTTP transport and OAuth 2.1 sign-in: there is no API key to copy.
Connecting an assistant
Claude (claude.ai, Claude Desktop)
- Open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector
- Enter the server URL above
- Click Connect: you are sent to the Alke Analytics sign-in page
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http alke-analytics https://api-analytics.alketech.eu/mcp
Then run /mcp in Claude Code and choose Authenticate.
ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and other MCP clients
Add a remote MCP server with the URL above. The client discovers the sign-in endpoints on its own (OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, Client ID Metadata Documents or dynamic registration).
The consent screen
After you sign in with your usual method (password, email link or Google), Alke Analytics shows:
- the name of the application and, for verified applications, the domain that publishes it
- where you will be sent back after approving
- the organizations you share with this assistant: tick one or several
The assistant only sees the organizations you ticked, and within them only the properties and revenue data your account can already see. If your access to an organization is removed later, the assistant loses it immediately.
What an assistant can do
| Tool | Purpose |
|---|---|
alke_list_organizations | Lists the organizations you shared and their properties |
alke_get_report_catalog | Lists the metrics and dimensions a report can use |
alke_get_dimension_values | Looks up the exact values of a dimension (sources, campaigns, sections…) to filter on |
alke_run_report | Builds and runs a report: metrics, up to 3 dimensions, filters, sorting, and up to 4 series compared side by side, as in the dashboard (periods and segments), including a one-flag comparison with the previous period |
Revenue figures are returned in EUR. Reports cover at most 366 days and return up to 500 rows per page.
Example questions:
- “Which traffic sources grew the most last week compared with the week before?”
- “Show the daily RPM of Motor Trend over the last 30 days.”
- “What are the 10 most read articles in the sport section yesterday?”
- “Compare direct and referral traffic per site in March.”
Disconnecting an assistant
Open your Profile in the dashboard: the Connected AI assistants section lists every assistant you connected, the organizations it can read and when it was last used. Click Disconnect to revoke its access immediately.
Security
- Sign-in uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE; access tokens are short-lived (30 minutes), bound to the Alke Analytics MCP server, and renewed with rotating refresh tokens.
- Every request is checked against your current permissions.
- Values coming from tracked websites (page titles, URLs, campaign names) are returned as data; assistants are told never to treat them as instructions.
- Every report an assistant runs is recorded in the audit log, with the application that ran it.
